DUSKY SUNSET FREEBIE & CHALLENGE!!

WOW......what a week!! I feel like I've hardly had time to stop!! What with watching Nelly for my good friend 3 days a week now, playgroup, family dinners, designing and housework, I've hardly had any quality time with the girls, let alone had time to scrap!! This week has just flow by! Because of all this, I didn't quite get the complete 'Dusky Sunset Kit' finished, so even though it is this week's freebie & challenge, I won't be able to offer the full kit up as a prize.....yet....but I think I might have a suitable substitute. Hi everyone! It's been a big week! I was going to post some photos from Pheobe's birthday on Sunday, but I just haven't had the time yet. We had such a great day, a very low-key affair. An outdoor BBQ with family & friends and of course CAKE!! The new diet I started 3wks ago meant that I couldn't actually eat the cake, but I did get to watch everyone else eat it....lol.

I just have to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to everyone who participated in my 1st ever challenge! It was so wonderful to see all the different ways you talented ladies used the freebie kit! Awesome effort.

Ok, like I was saying above, Pheobe just had her 4th birthday and to celebrate, I have created a lovely new kit inspired by her birthday dress. I have taken a few pieces from the kit & put together a mini FREEBIE kit for a new CHALLENGE.

All you have to do is download pheobe's freebie kit and create a layout using as much or as little of the kit as you like. You may add any other papers or elements that you wish. You MUST include a NUMBER on the page. That's all there is too it....easy!

Freebie Challenge #1

Well, it's been a not so great week. I'm struggling with a bout of gastro and I am the world's WORST sick person! I'm worse than the kids... no seriously, I am...lol. It has had it's benefits though. Because I have been feeling so bad and haven't really been capable of anything physical (like housework...he he he), it's left me nothing to do except to spend a lot of time sitting at the computer fiddling with elements and papers. While I'm still trying to get the shop up & running I thought I'd post a FREEBIE CHALLENGE with a few bitz'n'pieces from my new kits.

1st Post and a Freebie!

This is so exciting, my 1st ever post!! I've been trying to get it done all day, but the girls & I went to the Botanical Gardens with Nanny & Gramps this afternoon. By the time we got home it was time for dinner, baths etc!! Nanny & I got some great shots of the girls, so it was worth braving the hot afternoon.

I just loved this pic, one of my favs for the day. Miss Chloe was in another one of her moods today, so I had trouble getting any good pics of her, but I did like this one.Ok, it's getting really late now, so I'm going finish up & head to bed. I've been trying my hand at designing and have just finished my 1st ever papers, so it's freebie time!!!!
These are my 1st attempt, so I'll guarantee you that they are not perfect, but I've already used them in a few lo's and they come up not too shabby! You can download them here. Tfl!!
